My l&s Lecturer + ball of sunshine
This is my lecturer who has a warm and bubbly personality. It always feels good to attend her classes online and also physically. Her bubbly laugh just sets everything in place. Her warm smile gives security to focus and learn. I love the way she conducts our classes. Honestly, I miss to have physical classes just like in Puncak Alam. My classmates and I were thrilled and happy to finally see her. We enjoyed the classes and managed to pay more attention.

My notes
For listening and speaking, I took notes during class to maintain my focus. Miss Hannan always had tips and tricks to improve our speaking component. I still remember her first advice which was “putting the best effort on your table“. This meant that we always had to do our best in every task given. Furthermore, Miss Hannan always cheered my day with her positivity. She always had a smile on her face which made me feel comfortable in class. During physical class, I took notes on my notebook for easier access and we had a shorter period of time.
Phonetics
Phonetics was not actually something new to me. I already practiced phonetics when I studied in Manchester but that was years ago. I absolutely need to brush my skills again. I can say that I like learning phonetics because it helps me to pronounce words correctly and concisely.

Demo Speech
Macrame Wall Hanging
I chose to make a room decor for my demo speech. It is called a macrame wall hanging made from macrame string. I indeed enjoyed the process of making this room decor. I even used it myself. I can say that I am quite proud of myself for trying something new since I love making creative art since I was small. My mother influenced to make different types of art until now.
It is actually simple once you know the steps! Due to the pandemic, I had to make a video to present my demo speech. I had a fun time filming and editing the video. I felt as if I was a Youtuber! I am happy with the result. Here are some snippets from my video, please enjoy!
Physical class
Surprisingly, this was the only physical class that I could attend for semester 1. Meeting Miss Hannan in person was even better and I enjoyed her classes very much. I loved Miss Hannan's energy and the way she made our class interactive. Her bubbly personality just lighted up the room! Talking to her in real life made me understand better and I could brush up my communication skills even better. It was a golden opportunity for me to polish my pronunciation with the help from Miss Hannan.I will forever cherish our memories and I truly hope to see her next semester!
