My READING Lecturer + OUTGOING + FUN
I can say that Sir Afiq was the most outgoing lecturer I have ever met! His classes were seriously super fun! I was always looking forward to his classes. Reading classes were never dull with him. We always started with sharing sessions before class. Two students each week had to share their reading materials. Besides that, I understood his lessons clearly and he always had room for any questions we had. Luckily, I met Sir Afiq twice when I was in dengkil. It was good to see him! He even recognised me even though we only had classes online. Learning with Sir Afiq was a wonderful experience. I am happy to be one of his students! I hope to see him next semester.
My Notes
For reading, I normally would take notes from the slides provided. During class, I would add on any important reminders from Sir Afiq. With the guides from the textbook, slides and recored lectures, I was able to understand each topic better.

Using sticky notes and highlighters were also important to include in my note taking. I would jot down any phrases or reminders that Sir Afiq said repeatedly so that I would not repeat the same mistakes during the exam.

Assignments
Sir Afiq always found a way to make our assignments interactive and fun. Who would of thought I could watch movies as a task? I watched The professor and the mad man for Dictionary skills and Hamilton for Contextual clues. In my personal view, these movies indeed helped me to understand the topics better. They related to the topics that were taught by Sir Afiq. Plus, I also reflected on how grateful I should be for living in this era of modernisation. It was not easy to appreciate language back in the olden days.

Sharing session

For my sharing session, I shared about an article that I read regarding the importance of self-love. Here are the notes and it really helped myself to gain more self-love. I chose this topic because I needed a boost of self-awareness in myself. It was definitely worth the read. This article indeed helped me to reflect myself more. It is important to give myself attention and my soul is my priority.
Note that we need to be our authentic self and priorities our own feelings. Not to be selfish but to keep growing and glowing to be the best version of ourselves.
Reading presentation
My last assignment for this subject was the reading presentation. Each group had to choose a topic and we chose 'Nomophobia' which is a phobia without having our mobile phone. It was indeed an interesting topic to discuss. Everyone cooperated well even though most of discussions were conducted online. I enjoyed the process of filming the video for this task. I was in a group with Hanan, Shazwani, Kira and Aazeem. Everyone put their best effort and I felt grateful to have them as my teammates. We managed to accomplish the task in time. In addition, I even helped my group to edit the video, slides and poster for our presentation. I was happy to help as I love to do creative work especially volunteering in editing presentation slides. I felt satisfied with our group work. Therefore, I hope to achieve good results for our reading presentation.
